Mr  Lim's class was certainly a pleasant surprise. As dreadful as math seems, Mr Lim makes Math an enjoyable subject and explains each topic in a clear and concise manner.

Through his tuition, my grades jumped from U to an eventual A in my A-levels. Thanks Mr Chu Wei 🙂

Mr Lim has resourceful ways to reward his students for getting questions right, with a wheel of prizes to be won. He also is able to do classes online for me in case I wished to attend lessons from home or in school. All in all, Mr Lim is truly an amazing teacher who is caring, captivating (sometimes even funny) teacher who I can rely on for mathematics

Mr Lim is always finding new and innovative ways to motivate and push his students to work harder, and I really appreciate how he always makes time to answer any queries we have before or after class. He is someone who is very friendly which makes it very easy to approach him and ask for help to clarify any doubts.

Mr Lim is very well-versed with Math as a subject and is able to pass down his knowledge and teach students well. Chu Wei does not let students memorise formulaes but goes the extra mile and explains why and how these formulas works

Mr Lim is the best teacher you can ask for. Not only does he teach well, he is also a very caring teacher. I really appreciate the mind wrecking math questions he gives us every lesson. Even Though they have me headaches, it really helped me grew to appreciate the complexity of math and how fun it actually is.

Mr Lim never give up on me. He was very willing to patiently explain to me concepts that I didn’t fundamentally understand, even taking time to stay back after lessons and replying texts late at night to help me better grasp the concepts.

Under the teaching of Mr Lim, I was able to quickly grasp the concept as he was able to provide clear and simple explanations and examples of the concepts and provided a variety of questions to practice which helped me nail the concepts. During his crash courses, he provided us with summaries and would constantly re-emphasized important questions which helped me a lot during tests.

Mr Lim's tuition provides a very personalised experience whereby, he will point out each of our mistakes and ensure that we will not repeat it in our exams or future practices.  As I was very busy with my art coursework then, having tuition with Chu Wei once a week enabled me to keep up with my math amidst my schedule. Eventually, I was able to score an A for my H2 math.

Mr Lim is a dedicated teacher. A master of his craft. He's willing to go further to help his students in their shortcomings. Mr Lim is an inspiring figure, inspiring me in ways more than my studies.

Mr Lim is always finding fresh angles and perspectives to questions to ensure that we are prepared for any questions

Mr Lim has been really helpful as he would let me go to tuition earlier or stay back after class to go through questions that I had difficulty understanding in school. He is also very patient in explaining to us repeatedly when we had difficulty understanding the solutions.

Then came the final lap to A-Levels, it was quite obvious Mr Lim was much more anxious than the bunch of us. He tailored many lessons that targeted essential questions in each chapter of H2 math, he highlighted key points we should remember for each chapter and provided extra papers for us to try out.

Whats more was that he also give us tips in other areas that is beyond his responsibility. Mr Lim was happy (or even happier than us) for all of us that made it to our dream course in university. I am glad that I was able to be taught by him during my toughest period of my JC life. Thank you so much Chu Wei!

Mr Lim is meticulous and relentless when it comes to his students, so you will not have to worry about not getting your money's worth! He also prepares his own unique Math questions which effectively forces us to internalize and apply the Math concepts taught

Mr Lim's lessons and tests were really well crafted and passing NONE of his tests was actually kinda demoralising especially when alevels is nearing but well it better prepared me for the real deal and i jumped from a D to an A for H2 Math yay thank you Chu Wei

Honestly I was pretty pessimistic about Math at first as it was my second attempt at the A levels. However, Mr Lim proved me wrong. His nightmarish and infuriating tutorials exposed me to a lot more different types of questions than normal school papers have and that helped to build my confidence when doing math.

I am proud to say I have never failed any math paper after the guidance of Mr Lim, when in fact math was my most hated subject since primary school. I even scored distinction in my A Levels!!!

As a student who struggled with math to the point of crying and feeling hopeless while seeing my peers surpass me, the journey was arduous. However, having a compassionate teacher like Mr Lim to urge me on was truly comforting. Ultimately, this allowed me to improve my math grades from a persistent S/U to an E in prelim and finally an A in the A-level exams.

it is clear that Mr Lim had a lot of experience and passion for teaching based on how he teaches the topic. he made sure everyone understood the topic and he also made sure he stretches us by giving the class tutorial questions as well as class tests that were downright diabolical sometimes

I would definitely recommend joining Mr Lim's class if you want to improve your maths quickly in a short time 🙂
