Although my passion for math had started to wane in junior college due to the increasing difficulty of the questions, Mr Lim reignited that passion. Learning from someone with such enthusiasm and broad knowledge really motivated me to keep going, even when the questions seemed impossible.

Personally, I found the holiday crash courses to be especially helpful. The lessons were very well-paced, such that they were long enough to cover the key concepts of each chapter while still keeping our attention. Nearing A levels, I relied heavily on the crash course notes for consolidation and revision, as they were concise yet highlighted all the essential points.

Mr Lim is the best teacher you can ask for. Not only does he teach well, he is also a very caring teacher. I really appreciate the mind wrecking math questions he gives us every lesson. Even Though they have me headaches, it really helped me grew to appreciate the complexity of math and how fun it actually is.

Mr Lim is the most amazing maths tutor I have had!!! Firstly, he is a very dedicated and skilled teacher. He is aware of every students' different learning needs and is able to cater to all of them. He is also very skilled at recognising each student's strengths and weaknesses, and is able to guide and give advice to them on how to score for A-level. Additionally, his teaching style is very entertaining and he can be really dramatic, which is funny but effectively emphasises the point he wishes to make.

From Mr Lim's torturous and monstrous self-made tutorial question, I had alot of trouble doing it, but he took the extra mile and explain preciously to me with the basic understanding of math. That was when I improve alot from being a C-D student to getting my A in Alevel.

Mr Lim's lessons were fun and engaging, and he simplified difficult concepts for us to understand. When going through tutorial questions, he ensures that everyone understood and cleared their doubts before moving on. Chu Wei played an important role during my jc years and helped me attain an A in h2 maths, and i highly recommend for those seeking to improve their math.

On top of his teaching, Mr Lim also gives the best exam tips through his analysis of the previous years and based on his experience, and even very accurate predictions which allowed me to understand which topics to place more emphasis on. As a result of his dedication, my grades steadily climbed and I managed to secure an A in my A'level H2 Math.

DON’T HESITATE. Mr Lim pulled me up from the deepest trenches, fr. 🙏🙏 I once thought that I could not recover from the continuous “U” streak in H2 Math during J1. BUT Chu Wei never gave up on me, and I eventually clutched up!! 🤯

My math grades went from C to a comfortable A by the time it was A levels, which was quite chill cos of the hard questions he had prepared us for. overall I have no regrets cos it was fun and I feel more confident in my math abilities to take a math heavy course in uni 😀

Mr Lim is able to explain concepts very well and can find ways to ensure everyone is able to understand. He also makes math more interesting and helped me to rekindle my interest in math.

From a D7 in secondary school to an A for H2 math in the A levels, none of this would have been possible without the help of Chu Wei. Mr Lim's teaching methods are extremely helpful and will always go the extra mile to help you with your doubts and queries. His methodology has helped me understand and improve at math in a much simpler way that i am able to easily apply whatever is learned, whether it is understanding the question or the approach to answering one.

Every one of his lessons was thoughtfully crafted and questions were curated and planned to teach us different concepts, and values, each lesson. Mr Lim's tutorials, granted were freakishly challenging, often making us question if it was just to demoralize us, but looking back now, I’m grateful he exposed us to such questions. It taught me the value of precision, care and that no matter how impossible it may seem, it was always within us to be able to solve what was thrown our way.

The revision classes provided by Mr Lim were also very helpful, the questions chosen and the techniques used were very efficient. Mr Lim always made sure we understood and would spend extra time explaining if we didn’t. Towards the start of A levels i took all my classes online but they were still equally as useful and i highly recommend going for them!

As a student who struggled with math to the point of crying and feeling hopeless while seeing my peers surpass me, the journey was arduous. However, having a compassionate teacher like Mr Lim to urge me on was truly comforting. Ultimately, this allowed me to improve my math grades from a persistent S/U to an E in prelim and finally an A in the A-level exams.

mr lim will pick questions that are often tested and he can spot questions very well. even during the most stressful period before the big exam, he always tries to motivate us with rewards and lighten the mood a bit during our breaks, starting small conversations, checking up on us and giving us life advices too.

The bottom line is - there may be an abundance of tuition teachers out there for your picking (after all, this is Singapore we’re talking about), but there are only so many who will go beyond their duty as merely a tutor.
